The recently announced campaign, “STEM Utah: Curiosity Unleashed,” is aimed at getting kids interested in careers that are at once personally fulfilling and ultimately good for business.
Gov. Gary Herbert has teamed with representatives of the business community to launch the initiative, which was announced recently at an elementary school in West Valley City. Businesses have agreed to contribute $2 million to help fund the campaign, which will involve television, radio, billboards and online ads meant to grab young people’s attention.
Investing in the future is important for businesses throughout Utah, but to get to a point where a bright and open future is truly feasible, companies have to cover their bases in the present.
